Jason’s Films

Here are a bunch of film/video projects from throughout my life – fake movie trailers, fifi music videos, Tacoma travelogues, and also a video application for the IT department of a superhero team. Almost all of these projects involved the invaluable collaboration of beloved friends, but I take all of the blame for anything unbecoming.
“Sorry ‘Bout That” Part 4
Don’t Eat Bricks, t-shirts, Jason marriage, changes.
“Wood” Video
We set up a boombox and the camera on the back deck, and queued up the song. Eric and I took our places in the trees, and – on my command – my sister Jessica simultaneously pressed “PLAY” on the boombox and “RECORD” on the video camera.
“Semi-Revolutionary Colons” Video
Matt had a deep catalog of home movies: stop-motion animation of Lego spaceships, the protracted destruction of an unwanted bicycle, and several wherein he and his friends magically disappear and re-appear thanks to the demonic power of the camera’s “on/off” button.
“Sorry ‘Bout That” Part 3
Does its Duty, fifi: A Band (the book), Jeff Lageson (the anti-Jason), Rabid, critical reaction.
“Sorry ‘Bout That” Part 2
Metrix Studios, Live and Rabid, F.A.R.T.S. benefit debacle, Homecoming riot, radio exposure courtesy of John Burton.
“Sorry ‘Bout That” Part 1
Beginnings, the name, the members, fifi Hoop-Cakes.
DCI Aerospace Expo
I worked with a bunch of guys in a dark room, around lighted tables, and at no point did I take my clothes off, except once when I was going to go swimming after work.
Redacted Mash Notes (2006)
Matt and Jason shared carefully-edited excerpts from a recently discovered cache of high school mash notes.
And Then… (2006)
Hoping to present something “politically relevant” which “speaks to the concerns of our generation,” Jason opts to read a sci-fi short story he wrote in junior high.
Road to Tacoma, Part I
In January 1984, Matt, Jason, Eric, Paul (and a bunch of other folks) traveled to the bustling metropolis of Tacoma, Washington, to see Genesis (or possibly Gene Siskel; my memory is unreliable) live at the mighty Tacoma Dome.

The Lady Vanishes is with no doubt in my mind one of Alfred Hitchock's best creations and, keeping in mind…
Omg you are amazing
Sea buckthorn oil has a lot of omega seven unsaturated oil. It is claimed to help membranes work better.
Glad to hear you found it worthwhile/compelling, Jeff! Let's catch up after the first of the year.
Honestly, once you get to "proceed to part three" and then there is a sentence about feral dogs and being…
